Plowshare Peace Center will show the film “Pride” on Saturday, January 22, at 7 PM, through Zoom. A password to the film will be shared at the event. The password is a separate item from the Zoom discussion, which follow the film.
“Pride” tells the story of the “Lesbian and Gays Support the Miners” group, activists who raised money to support the British Miner’s strike in 1984. It’s based on a true story and is a very moving and very funny film. (It’s also R-rated).
